Annual Pass Guarantee
Pro Annual keeps the conditional three-month access extension. For a new eligible Max Annual purchase, complete the frozen study requirements and, if you do not pass the covered exam, choose either a full purchase-price refund or three more months of Max access when you file a verified claim.
The cash option applies only to qualifying Max Annual orders made after the program launch. It does not reimburse exam fees, guarantee approval by Affirm, or promise an exam result.

How a claim works

Take the covered exam
The exam attempt must occur while the selected discipline's Pro Annual, Max Annual, or prior approved extension access is active.

Submit matching evidence
Upload identity evidence and the NCEES-issued failed score report or diagnostic. The legal name must match across both records.

Receive the covered benefit
Pro Annual receives three more months. An eligible Max Annual member chooses a full purchase-price refund or three more months when filing the claim.
Max Annual Money-Back requirements
The member tracker freezes the available-content totals when the qualifying purchase activates, so later catalog changes cannot move the goalposts. All five gates must be met by the covered exam date.
- Watch at least 90% of enough released course videos to complete the frozen 80% video target.
- Complete the frozen 80% combined target for released study notes and lesson checks.
- Answer the frozen unique-practice target: 80% of the released bank, capped at 600 questions.
- Complete at least two full 110-question Mock exams.
- Record learning activity on at least 30 distinct UTC days.
Refund effect. The benefit is the full price paid for that qualifying Max Annual order. Access ends only after the payment provider confirms the refund. A Creem or Paddle order is processed in that provider's merchant dashboard and reconciled by its signed refund event; an Affirm order is refunded to the corresponding Affirm transaction, which adjusts the customer's loan.
Pro Annual effective-study rule
Pro Annual keeps the existing 40-hour requirement for each full UTC calendar month; covered partial months are prorated. The tracker uses completed, server-recorded actions. Leaving a page open, background time, duplicated uploads, and unsupported playback jumps do not count. A 12-hour UTC daily ceiling limits accidental or manipulated activity.
Practice questionsActive per-question time recorded with a completed normal practice attempt, capped at 15 minutes per question.
Mock examsElapsed time for a completed mock, capped at that mock's configured duration and four hours.
Course videosForward playback supported by elapsed wall time. Scrubbing, rewinds, and repeated sections do not create duplicate credit.
Study guidesThe first completed reading of a guide earns 10 minutes. Reopening or toggling the same guide does not earn it again.
Evidence, review, and privacy
Matching identity
Provide identity evidence and the NCEES-issued failed score report or diagnostic. The legal name must match. You may redact unrelated document numbers or fields.
Manual verification
Submission does not extend access automatically. A reviewer checks identity, result authenticity, exam timing, the benefit selected at filing, and the applicable frozen study snapshot.
Private retention
Evidence is held in private storage and scheduled for deletion 90 days after a final approval or rejection. Eligibility and benefit and refund/extension audit records may be retained for fraud prevention and contract administration.
