The AI behind Bode™
Bode is an AI tutor built for one exam. This page says plainly what its AI does, how its quality is controlled, and where its limits are.
What it does
Reacts
Answer a question and Bode responds to that answer — the choice you picked, the step it broke on — not to a generic script. Every reply cites the evidence it read: your attempt, your recorded misses, the screen you asked from.
Plans
Your study order comes from measured gaps — per-topic accuracy over counted samples, weighted by each topic's share of the public exam specification. When new practice evidence lands, the plan re-ranks from the numbers, never from a hunch.
Remembers
Bode keeps your working record: every question you've worked, every miss owed a retry, where you left off. Ask at 2 a.m. the night before the exam and it answers from that record, not from scratch.
How quality is controlled
Every number is computed by code — models only interpret
Accuracy, miss counts, readiness bands, days to exam day: each figure Bode cites is calculated by our own code from your recorded attempts before any model sees it. The model's job is to explain what the numbers mean, and the server refuses replies that invent statistics — mastery is described in measured bands, never manufactured as a percentage.
Output checks before a reply reaches you
Replies pass output moderation and quality checks on our side. A blocked or weak reply is retried once, silently, on a stronger model tier — you are never charged twice for one question, and you never see the failed attempt.
The material it teaches from is gated before release
Every published question, answer choice, and solution is independently authored and must pass multi-agent release gates — independent solution agreement from multiple solver models, critic checks, mathematical consistency, intended difficulty, style, and similarity against protected or previously published material. The full process is documented on the content methodology page.
What we tell you instead of hiding
AI can be wrong
Every reply is AI-generated — double-check anything that matters against your reference handbook. This is the same line we print next to the live coach, because it is true there too.
It will not predict whether you pass
No pass probabilities, no forecasts, no readiness percentages. It tells you what your evidence shows and what to do next; the fortune-telling stays out.
A five-question diagnostic is a starting read
The free diagnostic produces a preliminary map, not a verdict. Estimates get more accurate the more you answer, and the report says so on its face.
